Okubo is one of the truly international districts around Tokyo. If you are looking for a Korean restaurant, you will find plenty of good ones here. Also, the whole area of Okubo offers a wide range of cultural experiences: Korean, Chinese, Thai, Tunisian, and so on.

Kankoku Hiroba offers over 20 kinds of Kimchi in all sizes ranging from 1kg to small packages.
They cover basic vegetables with an emphasis on chili peppers, garlic, all kinds of meat and parts, and seafood, including mussels.

At tokyofoodcast, we pick up ingredients to make kimchi at home in the winter. Nothing like home made kimchi!

Kankoku Hiroba has online store and offers most of the stuff they have at the store. Here’s the link to the store.
